A Day of Magic and Milestones: Celebrating Mark Mysterrio’s Ruby Anniversary With Two Major Events on June 6th

June 6th, 2026 is shaping up to be one of the most meaningful days in my 40‑year career as a magician. This year marks my Ruby Anniversary in Magic — four decades of performing, entertaining, and sharing wonder with families across Pennsylvania and beyond. And on this special day, I have the honor of appearing at two major community events: the Lackawanna Heritage Valley Festival during the day and Becky’s Drive‑In 80th Anniversary Celebration in the evening.

It’s rare that a single day brings together so much history, community, and celebration — and I’m grateful to be part of both.

40 Years of Magic: A Ruby Anniversary Worth Celebrating

On June 1st, 1986, I stepped onto a stage for the very first time as a professional magician. I didn’t know then where the journey would lead — the thousands of shows, the families I’d meet, the festivals I’d become part of, or the communities that would welcome me year after year.

Forty years later, the magic is still alive.

This Ruby Anniversary isn’t just a personal milestone. It’s a celebration of:

  • The families who invited me into their memories
  • The festivals and events that trusted me with their stages
  • The children who grew up watching my show
  • The communities that kept live entertainment alive even as venues changed
  • The joy, laughter, and connection that magic creates

And on June 6th, I get to celebrate this milestone the best way I know how — by performing for the people who continue to make it possible.

Part 1: Lackawanna Heritage Valley Festival — 11 AM to 4 PM

The day begins in Scranton at the Lackawanna Heritage Valley Festival, a beloved community event that brings families together for music, food, vendors, history, and entertainment. From 11:00 AM until 4:00 PM, I’ll be performing throughout the festival grounds, sharing walk‑around magic, interactive illusions, and the kind of spontaneous fun that makes outdoor festivals unforgettable.

🎩 What Guests Can Expect

Throughout the day, festival‑goers can look forward to:

  • Close‑up magic
  • Comedy and audience participation
  • Family‑friendly entertainment
  • Photo opportunities

Moments of wonder that appear when you least expect themThe Lackawanna Heritage Valley Festival celebrates the region’s culture, history, and community spirit — and I’m honored to bring my Ruby Anniversary magic to such a meaningful event.

Part 2: Becky’s Drive‑In 80th Anniversary — After 5 PM

Once the festival wraps up, the celebration continues in Walnutport as I head to Becky’s Drive‑In for their historic 80th Anniversary Celebration. Gates open at 5 PM, and the evening is packed with entertainment, activities, and a fireworks finale.

Becky’s Drive‑In is more than a venue — it’s a Pennsylvania treasure. For eight decades, families have gathered under the stars to watch movies, share memories, and enjoy the simple magic of the drive‑in experience. Being part of their 80th anniversary during my 40th year in magic feels like a perfect alignment of tradition and celebration.

Entertainment at Becky’s Includes:

  • Magic by Mark Mysterrio
  • Face Painting by Miss Direction
  • Balloon Art by Balloons by Robin
  • Fireworks by Pyro Joe
  • Live music, stilt walkers, characters, rides, and more

The ribbon‑cutting ceremony begins at 5:45 PM, and the full evening of entertainment follows. I’ll be performing walk‑around magic, interacting with families, and helping add to the festive atmosphere as Becky’s celebrates this incredible milestone.

Two Events, One Magical Day

Performing at two major events in one day — one celebrating regional heritage and the other celebrating 80 years of drive‑in history — feels like the perfect way to honor my Ruby Anniversary.

Both events represent what has kept me performing for 40 years:

  • Community
  • Family
  • Tradition
  • Joy
  • Shared experiences
  • The belief that magic brings people together

From Scranton to Walnutport, June 6th will be filled with laughter, smiles, and moments that remind me why I started performing all those years ago.

Thank You for 40 Magical Years

As I celebrate this Ruby Anniversary, I want to thank every person who has ever watched a show, booked an event, brought their children to see me, or shared a moment of magic with me. You are the reason I’m still performing today.

If you’re attending either event on June 6th, I look forward to celebrating with you. If you’re attending both — well, you’re in for a double dose of magic.

Here’s to the next chapter. Here’s to new memories. Here’s to keeping the wonder alive. If you want to help by having us at your event or party, call us at 1-872-21-MAGIC or email: mrmysterrio@yahoo.com OR visit our main page by clicking here.
