My Birthday with the Funniest Kids Birthday Magician in Allentown

Dear Journal,
Today was the BEST. DAY. EVER. I had my birthday party and guess what? Mommy got me a real magician. Not just any magician—a funny one. His name was Mark Mysterrio and he’s the coolest kids birthday magician in Allentown. He made me laugh so hard I almost dropped my cupcake.

At first, I thought he was just a regular grown-up. He wore a big hat and had a suitcase full of weird stuff. But then he pulled a banana out of his shoe and made a rubber chicken talk. I don’t even know how. All the kids were screaming (the good kind of screaming). That’s when I knew this kids birthday magician in Allentown was not normal. He was magical.

He picked me to help with the first trick. I got to wave a wand and say “Abraca-birthday!” and then POOF! A scarf turned into a bunny. Not a real bunny, but a super fluffy one that squeaked when you hugged it. I named it Sparkle. Mark said I was the best magician’s assistant he ever had. I think I might be famous now.

Even my cousin Joey, who never laughs at anything, was giggling like a baby. Mark did this one trick where he made a balloon animal that turned into a hat and then it exploded into confetti. Mommy said she was glad it wasn’t glitter. I think she likes Mark too. She said he was the best kids birthday magician in Allentown because he made the party fun and easy.

Mark did this thing where he made a dollar bill disappear and then it showed up in a peanut butter sandwich. I don’t even like peanut butter but I screamed anyway. Then he made a kid float. Like, really float. I thought it was a trick, but I checked under the table and there were no strings. I think he might be a wizard.

After the show, he gave me a magic wand and a special birthday certificate that says I’m an honorary magician. I’m going to hang it on my wall next to my unicorn poster. All my friends said it was the best party ever. Even the twins who had a bounce house last month said they liked mine better. That’s because I had the funniest kids birthday magician in Allentown and they just had sweaty socks.

Mommy said Mark was super nice and easy to work with. He showed up early, set everything up, and didn’t even mind when our dog barked at his suitcase. He even made Daddy laugh, and Daddy usually just hides in the kitchen during parties. Not this time. He was clapping and laughing like a big kid.

I think every kid in Allentown should have Mark Mysterrio at their party. He’s not just a kids birthday magician in Allentown—he’s like a superhero who makes people laugh and does magic and doesn’t even need a cape. I already told Mommy I want him back next year. Maybe he can make my little brother disappear. (Just kidding. Sort of.)
Okay, I have to go now. I’m going to practice my magic wand moves and maybe turn my broccoli into cake. Wish me luck.

Magically yours,
Olivia the Magnificent
